As Vice President of Automotive Licensing, Jared’s responsibilities include oversight of our national sales team focused on licensing our Black Book data to automotive OEM’s, Auctions, VAR’s, Dealerships, Marketing Companies and others that are focused on automotive industry.

Jared has spent his entire professional career in the automotive industry, holding a variety of management roles. Prior to joining Black Book he was Vice President of Sales for Digital Air Strike, the leading Social Media and Reputation Management company focused on the automotive industry. From 2006-2011 he worked for Manheim, holding positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his role as Executive Director of Sales Operations, where he was responsible for all dealers sales teams and activities for the Western US. From 1999-2006 he helped launch, and was one of the original employees of leading E-Commerce automotive site CarsDirect.com, helping to launch their sales efforts, and grow their annual business to over $100 million in several key automotive categories, prior to the company’s IPO. He began his career holding a variety of management positions with Enterprise Rent a Car in the Atlanta area.

Jared holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and resides in the Atlanta suburbs with his wife and son.
